Web Design Without Borders — Closing of the Wix Design Challenge 2025: International Edition

Design has that unique ability to connect ideas, cultures, and people.

And that’s exactly what happened during the Wix Design Challenge 2025 – International Edition, a global competition that brought together design and technology students to tackle a high-impact creative challenge… in just 3 hours.

An Edition That Left Its Mark

With 13 universities from 5 continents and over 100 students participating, this edition became a true meeting point for new voices in digital design.

Each project was a showcase of the talent, innovation, and sensitivity of a generation that sees design as a tool to communicate, build, and transform.

Participants faced two possible challenges:

• Develop a personal portfolio website

• Create an e-commerce site

Both challenges required not only technical skills, but also a strategic mindset, creativity, conceptual clarity, and functional execution.

Estudio CKS as Part of the International Jury

At Estudio CKS, we had the honor of being part of the international jury for the Challenge.

Our Head of Design & Communication, Cynthia Cravero Klinsky, and our Head of Marketing, Ignacio Salas, joined the evaluation process alongside experts from Wix and leading voices from the education sector.

What We Looked for in the Evaluation

When reviewing the projects, the focus was on:

• Meeting all requirements

• User experience

• Visual and conceptual quality of the design

• Originality

• Effective use of tools and interactions

It was a challenging, inspiring, and deeply enriching task.

The Winners

The top projects received cash prizes according to their ranking and were also considered for the Wix Campus Accelerator and Wix Innovation Hub programs — two spaces for training and development aimed at emerging designers.

A Closing with Vision

The winners were announced in a live session with the jury, which also included space for sharing learnings, discussing current challenges in digital design, and networking between experts and students. A closing filled with community spirit and future outlook.

From LATAM to the World

Design is a powerful tool when combined with intention, insight, and creativity.

Being part of this edition as jury members was both a privilege and a great source of inspiration. We congratulate all participants and encourage those taking their first steps in digital design to keep exploring, learning, and creating.
