The Gentleman Driver: From Crash to Startup in Just One Week

Not all projects arrive on time. Sometimes the clock is ticking and decisions must be made on the fly.
That's what happened with The Gentleman Driver, an initiative that combines a passion for sports cars, exclusive travel, and a spirit of adventure. The original website (developed in WordPress) went down just when they needed it most: right before a key launch.
With just a week to go, the challenge was clear: recover as much information as possible and launch a new, functional website that was consistent with the spirit of the project and easily manageable in the future. And so this digital sprint began.
A quick solution, without losing design or strategy
Urgency doesn't have to be at odds with excellence. At Estudio CKS, we proposed solving the project with Wix Studio, a platform that allows us to design with flexibility while building a solid, self-managing structure.
We took advantage of dynamic data, a key tool for this type of development, which allowed us to efficiently structure repeatable content (such as experiences or host profiles). This way, each section of the site can be easily updated from a connected database, without having to touch the overall design or structure.

The spirit behind the wheel
One of the driving forces behind the project is Jorge Murano, a former Dakar racer passionate about speed and the world's landscapes. The Gentleman Driver offers exclusive off-road vehicle trips, with an aesthetic and narrative that evokes adventure, elegance, and community. All of this had to be reflected on the website.
Therefore, the visual design was designed to accompany that pent-up adrenaline rush: striking photographs, vibrant backgrounds, details, and simple navigation that complement the overall project's vision.
A website ready to hit the road
In less than a week, the site was online: functional, aligned with the brand's proposition, and ready to support new launches. And most importantly, with a structure designed to scale and be easily managed by the client. Because it wasn't just about being online, but about building a tool that would truly support the project in its next steps. What did we do in this project?
We recovered and restructured content from the previous site.
We proposed a scalable and self-managed solution using Wix Studio.
We designed a website with an aesthetic aligned with the brand's spirit.
We implemented dynamic data to facilitate updates.
We were able to have everything online in a week.
At Estudio CKS, we believe that when teamwork flows, timelines adapt and solutions emerge. This was a quick project, but with lasting results.
