Design, Creativity, and the Digital Future: The Wix Design Challenge 2025 is Here

This year, Wix launches a new edition of the Wix Design Challenge, a global competition inviting students from all over the world to put their creative perspective and web design skills to the test.
At Estudio CKS, we’re honored to share that Cynthia Cravero Klinsky, Head of Design & Communications, and Ignacio Salas, Head of Marketing, have been selected as part of the international jury for the 2025 edition. They will join other jury members from the education field and expert professionals from the Wix team in evaluating the finalist projects.
What is the Wix Design Challenge About?
It’s an open competition for students in fields related to design and technology, such as graphic design, visual communication, interactive design, UX/UI, and more.
The goal? To solve a design challenge with impact, using Wix or Wix Studio tools and presenting a creative, functional, and original solution.
Two Categories to Choose From:
Portfolio Website
Showcase your personal brand, examples of your work, and digital resume.
E-Commerce Website
Create an online store with products, marketing materials, and sales strategies.
Prizes & Opportunities
1st Place: $2,000 cash prize
2nd Place: $500 cash prize
3rd Place: $250 cash prize

How it works,
Fill out the registration form and select your challenge category: Portfolio or E-Commerce.
Join the challenge following the provided guidelines.
When,
July 21st, 12:00 PM EST — Project submissions close at 3:00 PM EST.
Winners announced on July 24th during a live session with the jury, offering networking opportunities and industry insights.
Where,
Online | Hackathon format
Who Can Participate?
Students aged 18+ from any country, familiar with Wix or Wix Studio and able to build a fully designed, functional, and optimized website.(*) Except for students from Brazil and Quebec.
Participants can join individually or in teams of up to 3 people.

Participation is free.
All you need is motivation, creativity, and the desire to push your limits.
Evaluation Criteria
Projects will be assessed based on functionality, design quality, user experience, originality, and other criteria.
United States Category
For students within the USA. This competition will be held in-person at Wix’s New York offices during October.
